Hi.

I have just started lifting weights, and i haven't trained for 3 years now. I have lifted weights before , but this time i really wanna take it to another level.

However, im not sure if im gonna start cutting or bulking. I wanna get really lean this time. Also im not sure how many calories i should consume on a daily basis.

I am a 28 year old male, 179 cm tall, and 170 pounds. I have about 15 - 20% bodyfat (i think).

Need good tips, how many calories, on how many meals etc.

Eventually you can point me to any good articles on the subject. This is my first time around this website, and the amount of information is overwhelming.

Thanks in advance for any good replies.

Before u conceder bulking or cutting get a strict BB diet down first .
Times ur bodyweight in lbs x 15 = 170 x 15 = 2550 calories a day .
protein = 1g x 170lbs = 170 g protein
carbs = 170 x 2 = 340 g carbs
fat = 56 g a day .

do this for 6 weeks and ananlyse what u think u should do from then on .

eat 5-7 meals a day evenly spread .

Hi

Good answer. Now do you have an example? ;)

Like how do you divide the calories up during the day . How many for breakfast, how many at lunch etc. And how should i split it between carbs, protein and fat?
