Right now, and for the next 3 months (maybe longer), I won't be able to do any cardio or lift any weights. I have to take it really easy because I'm having bad back problems and am trying a lot of things to get it fixed. My problem is though that everybody is telling me that I need to gain weight and I know that I need to myself. I just get nervous about gaining weight when I'm not working out or anything. I just feel that I'm just gonna get fat. It's kind of a psychological problem too because I use to be really big...293 lbs. Right now I'm 21 yrs. old, 6' tall, and 157 lbs. Any advice would be appreciated. I posted some pics so you guys can tell if I need to gain weight as well and give some advice on how to do it correctly.

yes gain weight. If you eat clean and do cardio you will gain muscle with little to no fat (depends on condition). Read this:
