View Full Version : Is This A Good Diet/Program For Me...?

im 30 years old 5'10'' 220 lost about 40 lbs of fat so far, gained about 10 lbs of muscle, i stated at 250 lbs...im on my 5th month of weight traning.

wake up at 6:30am

7:00am - breakfast pre workout
in blender
2 cups of fat free milk
2/3 cup of quick 1 minute quaker oats
2 scoop of optimum nutritions 100% whey
3 grams optimum nutritions creatine powder
1 bannana
5 ice cubes

1 hard boiled egg
1 mega multi

8:30 - 9:00am hit the gym

10:30 - 11:00am post workout
in shaker cup
15 ounces fat free milk
2 scoop of optimum nutritions 100% whey
3 grams optimum nutritions creatine powder
15 ounces grape juice

1:00 - 1:30pm lunch
chicken or other meat
1 potato (any good carbs)
salad
(i keep it 500 calories or below)

4:30 - 5:00pm snack
1 rice cake with peanut butter and grape jelly
6 turkey slices with triscuits
(stuff like that i mix it up alot)

7:30 - 8:00pm dinner
meat chicken steak an so on...
vegetables
bread
(i keep the carbs low at night)

10:00 - 10:30 sleep (last 3 months or so its been 8 hours on the dot)

i really like this site its helped me very much so i thank you all...

congrats on the loss/gain, but im not sure if you are asking a question or making a statement..if you're asking if ur plan is good, i'd say so if you've lost that much fat while gaining that much muscle-keep up the good work

thanks i have been working at it hardcore...and yes it is a question, i've hit a bit of a plateau on my weight loss...is there anything i can do to help lose more weight? i do cardio 3 days a week after weight training for 15 - 20 min at high intensity and abs twice a week. guess i should of added that. my bad.

1 mega multi (GET RID OF THE BANANNA AND ADD ANOTHER 1/3 CUP OF OATMEAL)

10:00 - 10:30 sleep (last 3 months or so its been 8 hours on the dot)

if i lose the milk what do i mix my whey with?

and the gatorade will it spike my insulin like grape juice does?

i dont mix the grape juice in with my post workout shake, i just pound that after.

Water+Whey, the Gatorade is Dextrose. The Grape Juice is Fructose.

Dex. is Preferred IMO.

thanks again wildman. yuck water with my whey i tryed it once,
made me gag. guess ill have to just hold my nose...gatorade i have a ton of ill pound that down instead of the grape juice...
