I just got this food scale and am a little confused how to use it... For 1 can of tuna it says it has roughly 40grams of protien, however i weighed it and it came out to be 120 grams..

I am currently eating 580 cal per meal 6 meals (190lbs)

44 grams protein
58 grams cabrs
19 grams fat

when i weigh them out they seam to be reality smaller than what i am used to eating. Any help on this, I am really new to the whole lifting, and dieting scene. thanks

just because it weighs 120 grams doesn't mean it has that much protien in it.

also. i just got a food scale a couple weeks ago myself. i must say that a 6oz can of tuna, when drained and removed from the can only contains 3oz of meat. so the nutritional lable doesn't make sense, because it says it contains 2.5 servings of 2oz of DRAINED TUNA, which adds up to 6oz of Drained tuna. but theres only 3oz.
