no need to go over 1.2-1.3 imo

some people would say you only need 1 gram, some would even say .8 of a gram.

and as you have seen some say 1.5-2 grams.

getting 350 grams is do-able. 250 from foods and 100 from powder is fairly reasonable. 470 would be a bit much though

Try to get AT LEAST 1 g of protein/lb of bodyweight. If you weight 200 for example, you may take 200 gr of protein, you may take 300,but but not 150

Total body weight is what's generally reccomended. It really shouldn't be that hard. Lean chicken, tuna, egg whites/eggs, protein shakes, other lean meats, soy products, cottage cheese, milk, yogurt, etc. It adds up quite nicely.

However, beyond that, many people advocate getting ~40% of your total calories from protein which can actually be quite a bit more.

anywhere from 1-2 grams per bodyweight is recommended. Get yourself a good protein supplement like Optimum Whey to get you daily protein intake. I am a big guy and shoot for about 500 grams of protein a day. There is no way in hell I could get that in daily if it were not for a good 100-150 grams of protein from the supplement.

Though IMHO if you get a lot of protein from protein powder and can afford it, you should aim for a casein or an egg blend, as it will digest more slowly than the whey. Something like micellar casein from proteincustomizer.com, VPX Micellean, Syntrax Isomatrix, etc.

ya i hear what you are saying. What i do is add milk to the whey shakes for the casein protein. A good 24oz glass does the trick.
