His base 2016 salary alone was 12 million LOL

When the news hit, the number was 40-50 million. Knew that sounded totally ridiculous.

yeah 5 or 6 measly million...Well he could have made 14 million over two years with the broncos so I'd say he made a bad choice pretending to be a martyr for an ambiguous cause that he never really articulated. The down side would have been everyone would know he wasn't very good at football had he done that.
