Eat a meal right BEFORE a workout, ive done this for the past week and it has worked great. Its TOUGH as hell to get through the workout, but you get constant supply of protein and vitamins to your muscles.
TOday before working out i ate:

1 can of light tuna fish
5 oz of extra lean ground beef
1 small sweet potato

then after working out for 1 hour:

1 protein shake (50g)
1 banana

try it....or don't

**** if i ate before i worked out i would throw up

I always eat right before my w/o. I try to get about 35g/35g of Carb/Pro with minimal fat all from solid food. I have found nothing but good results.

NOTE: I do feel bloated as hell after I drink my post-wo shake, but, w/e that doesnt matter.
