Hello, how are you doing. I would like to know your opinions, friends, what you think you should do. Definition, volume or body recomposition. I used to weigh 189 lb and went down to 163 but I was fat. That was three years ago. A year ago I started in the gym lifting weights. I did a routine torso leg and a volume stage and went up to 182 lb but I looked very fat and then went down and I was just as I see in the photos, 165 lb. What do you recommend to do?

Start lifting on Fierce 5 Novice routine will eating at maintenance. See how long you can make strength progress.

I started a "stronglifts 5x5" program two months ago. My brands have improved in squats and in Barrel row but in BP, DL and OHP have not improved much. My current sq is 185 sq, 135 RB, 115 BP, 70 OHP and DL 185 lb. But already have two weeks that no progress in any exercise. I do 6 days of deficit and one of carbohydrate load.

^^^^^Yep, this... You're not that fat, you're just really lacking muscle development.

You think I can do a lean bulk phase or I should eat my maintenance calories. This while I'm still with the stronglifts 5x5 routine. Or should I switch to a more routine for hypertrophy?

Fierce 5, Stronglifts...it doesn’t matter. Both are proven strength programs.

You say you’re eating at a deficit. How much of a deficit? 1500 cals a day won’t cut it. It’s a marathon not a race. Progressive overload is the name of the game.

How much protein are you getting a day?

Well, I do have a control over my calories and macros. 2 grams of protein per kilogram. 1 gram of fat per kilogram and the rest of carbohydrates. I'm consuming 2100 calories and recharge day of 3000. I have a heavy job from Thursday to Sunday. Although I wanted to know if I would not want to do a routine push pull or TP. But if the stronglifts is fine, I think it's perfect. I appreciate your opinion on that, buddy. Thank you very much, seriously

'recharge' day?

I call it recharge day a day that as more calories, is that I'm doing a carb cycling. But on Friday I put more calories because that day I have to work and train and how my work is heavy and I get smashed to go to the gym to lift a lot of weight in squat breaks my head and so I try to compensate by removing carbs from other days and putting all Carbs on Friday.
what do you think about my situation?

SL5x5 is too much volume for deficit/maintenance.
