1) AB
2) Josh Gordon (when sober...yeah I said it)
3) OBJ
4) Julio
5) Nuk
6) Green
7) Fitz (old man still has some of the most dependable hands in the league regardless who's throwing to him)

Have Julio so low because I simply can't put him top 3 if he's a non-existent RZ target. Watching him last year I understand why...boy's mitts are greased when they're within 20.

lol probably right.

Dude is such an insanely gifted specimen though. OBJ top end speed + Julio physicality + Fitz hands. It'll be a shame if he fails with this last chance he's given.

He's one of my fav young receivers, but wtf has he accomplished statistically to put him in the top 7, let alone the top 10?

Hell, I'd even take Baldwin over him in a heartbeat.

He's only averaging 98 catches and 1200 or so yards per year through his first 2 seasons...

green is absolutely NOT as good as hopkins. green gets taken out of games regularly and is soft AF. i'll give you Antonio over hopkins but that might be it, and god knows what Hopkins' numbers would be like playing with big ben his whole career on an offensive-minded team vs a rather grounded Houston team.

1 Antonio
2 Deandre
3 Odell
4 Julio
5 Larry Fitz
6 Green
7 Evans

evans is a monster waiting to happen i know he had a messy season. fitz is so old but still too good to keep off the list. 100+ catches 1k yards even during an awful cards year. guys like jordy and dez have lost a step. green would be my first guy to drop here, probably for michael thomas.

If people don't see how good Hopkins is after this year, they'll never learn. Dude is a stud. If Watson stays healthy this season he's going to put up ridiculous numbers.

Juju Smith-Schuster will be breaking into the top 7 this year. It took him about half a season to acclimate to the NFL as a rookie but he is a physical beast.

He had 58 receptions on 80 targets, 917 yard, 7 TDs.

He did most of his work over the last 7 regular season games, 41 receptions on 53 targets, 686 yards, 4 TDs.

Did some math if his last 7 game production was pro-rated over 16 games he'd be at 94 receptions on 121 targets, 1568 yards, 9 TDs.

People are still going to be drafting Larry Fitzgerald ahead of this kid in fantasy leagues though.

Juju Smith-Schuster... usc homer chit
I think he should be good, surprised he wasn't a first rounder, but was thinking since he's 21 in this league he could break jerry rices records.
Top 3 got to be hopkins jj ab in whatever order
aj, baldwin, allen, cooks, would be my next 4.
OBJ has the drama, larry is getting old, gordon wouldn't be surprised if he leads the league next year or doesn't play. If last year never happened evans easily is top 7. diggs, hill, thomas all deserve a mention

I feel like the first 6 can be interchangeable but top six is set in stone. I think Michael Thomas is legit but he could he over thrown by people like Tyreek Hill, Adam Thielen, and Mike Evans. Side note- Don't sleep on T.Y Hilton I wont be surprised if he sneaks into the top 5 stats wise with a healthy Luck throwing to him

Adams certainly has the potential to be a top 7, maybe even top 5 WR in the league and maybe the best WR from a production standpoint Green Bay has ever had when his career is all said and done (barring any future concussion issues) but he's not there yet. Has yet to produce more than 75 receptions or 1,000 yards in a season to this point in his career. I expect him to have a huge season here coming up though, should easily surpass both those marks if he stays healthy.

I'm not sure about a top 7.
Top 5 has to include AB, Hopkins, Julio, OBJ, and AJ Green. Give them all a top flight QB and the proper offensive system, and they'll all produce ridiculously well.

Guys like Keenan Allen, Mike Evans, Doug Baldwin are all right on the cusp just need to establish a bit more consistency.

I guess I'd be happy with that group as a top 8, although I could easily find another half dozen or so guys that could prove their worth with the right system/QB

I would say Moss was a better receiver than Rice. If Moss had back to back HOF QBs throwing to him he'd have crushed Rice easily. Yeah I said it.

I would say Moss was a better receiver than Rice. If Moss had back to back HOF QBs throwing to him he'd have crushed Rice easily. Yeah I said it.

and you would be wrong.

Montana and Young were injured frequently. Their most common backups were the "HOF QBs" named Elvis Grbac, Steve Bono, and Jeff Kemp. Those 3 QBs started and completed 21 games with Jerry Rice during 1986, 1991, 1995, and 1996. How did Rice do in those 21 games without his true HoF QBs?

(actual) 21 games: 126 receptions, 2042 yards, 20 TDs
(calculated) 16 games: 96 receptions, 1556 yards, 15 TDs

Rice's career averages over 16 games were 82 rec, 1209 yards, 10 TDs
Rice's average with the backups over 16 games was 96 rec, 1556 yards, 15 TDs

If only Rice could've played with those 3 scrubs his whole career, he would be even further ahead! </sarcasm>

The idea that Moss would've EVER matched Rice's consistency is nonsense. Moss is the 2nd best WR ever. Firmly entrenched in that position. Rice is #1, and it really isn't even that close.

Yeah Rice was more consistent but I'll still take Moss. Most dangerous player to ever play the game.

Yeah Rice was more consistent but I'll still take Moss. Most dangerous player to ever play the game.

most dangerous to both teams. He disappeared far too often for me to take him over Rice. Moss is still several steps ahead of TO and Larry Fitz, but I just can't take him over Rice.
of course, neither Rice nor Moss are playing today, so I'm not sure how we got sucked into this tangent :p
