View Full Version : Is Ohio State's chances of making the playoffs officially over now?

OSU needed Bama to win today and Auburn beat Bama. Even if OSU wins the B1G title, the committee will obviously choose a 11-1 Bama over a 10-2 Ohio State, even though Bama will not have a conference title.

So I think the final 4 looks like this.

1. Auburn
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Alabama

Ohio State is officially, out of playoff contention.

It depends how much weight having a conference title weighs. We can all agree that 4 teams isnt enough for a playoff.

If South Carolina wins tonight, they might just implode.

And undefeated Wisconsin still doesn't get in.

One of, if not the best teams in the nation is a two loss team and it isnt OSU....LOL

I agree we need a larger playoff to sort these situations out...

OSU needed Alabama to win so Auburn can be eliminated. Now there is a case to put 2 SEC teams in the playoffs. B1G Champ could be left out if Ohio State wins next week.

Not gonna happen.

It sets a bad precedence to have an undefeated power 5 left out.

This literally needs to be OSU next week vs Wisconsin, for the good of the B1G conference.

OP you need to relax with the B1G threads you weirdo. MSU and Wisconsin are cuck schools with cuck fans like yourself.

Wisconsin would be 13-0 if the beat OSU. It'd be hard to keep them out of the plsyoffs.

Surprised to see bama lose already. OSU has a large fan base also, they know that means money. We'll see how things play out.
