Commentators usually try not to harp on the refs, but JVG has already called out the refs for like 3 calls that were blatantly in favor John Wall..

lol

guy would be shooting like 2-12 right now or some **** without the refs help

I can't believe how bad fultz is at FT.

why would anyone take him 1st overall?

Fultz might be fuked physically. He had normal form in college. He was passable from the FT line, not great but not a liability. The team didn't even know he switched it up. Apparently he's got a hurt shoulder. But if it's bad enough to make him change his form that drastically how is he going to stay off the injured list.

Do you really want to waste 5 minutes debating the degree of adjective I used Hugh or just move on?

Let's just say he wasn't Andre Roberson.

fultz/simmons get mugged no calls, no respect
john wall drives to the basketball, automatic free throws.
john wall drives his shoulder into a white PG, no call. the nba is racist. embiid does the same to their center in the restricted area, offensive foul.

gortat literally moves on every single screen, think they called him for it once. Amir Johnson stands there and porter runs into him, 6th foul of the game

lol...

Ben Simmons 18/10/5ast, 2stls/1blk vs 1 turnover in his debut. Embiid gonna Embiid.

I'll take it.

In time they will get better and learn how to beat the 2nd best team in the East with the refs on their backs, but not quite yet.

Lazy ass passes at the end of the game into two turnovers or we might be seeing a different result.

Bench/Dario was pretty disappointing, Covington shot lights out tho, perimeter defense was very lacking without him. Beal shot 6-17 with him as the primary defender.

Somebody pay this man. Getting disrespected all offseason saying he won't be in the starting lineup.

0 Jahlil Okafor minutes
0 Nik Stauskas minutes
0 Sergio Rodriguez minutes this season

praise the lord

Last shot shouldve went to covington, he had the hot hand. But they blew not 1, but 2 possessions anyway. so it doesnt matter i guess

the last shot was what we brought JJ Redick in for, was a good look, he missed, oh well, the play worked.

i'll take jj redick shooting that shot over Covington about 90% of time just based on averages

Happy with what I saw. Had a legit shot at winning in the debut for Simmons/Fultz while playing against a top 3 team in the conference on the road. Some sloppy play down the stretch which I expect to see quite a bit of out of the sixers since we're so young.

Simmons looked like a beast, would like to see him be more aggressive sometimes. He blew past the defense so effortlessly a few times. Fultz looked good at everything except that terrible shot. I liked his movement to get to the basket and also he had a few nice defensive moments and passes.

was really impressed with covington, shot the lights out and played hard on defense. Simmons had a decent debut too.
