He's elite in the sense he's an NFL QB. He's not elite in the sense he has ever been seen as a top 3 QB in the league.

he had one incredible playoff run

other than that, no. Average or below average at best

best thing to happen to the Steelers is Flacco's lucky playoff run. They got a Super Bowl out of it, and ruined their franchise in the process. Until they get out from underneath that laughable contract, they're hosed. Flacco is bottom half of the NFL as far as starters go, possibly even bottom 3rd

During that playoff run, I kept hearing everyone say that you need an elite QB to win a SB. I was always against this belief, yet when he won so many people proclaimed him as elite. I still think you can win one with an average QB.

If trent dilfer isn't proof of that, then I don't know who is.

I thought he was, but ever since he signed that huge contract .. past performance is not an indicator of future results. :)

Also Russell Wilson... Wilson is good but definitely not elite...

It's a team game.. Football is far from a 1-on-1 sport so you definitely do not need an elite QB to win the SB.

the only reason he's still relevant is because of this throw that should have never been able to work. he's pretty much eli except without the retarded face.

Flacco is as average as you can get in a NFL QB. And by average I mean almost below average.

He's playing at the professional level in the NFL but comparatively to other NFL QB's he's about average.

Eli on his worst day is no where near as bad as Flacco on most days lmao. Flacco is pathetically bad, might be worse than Bortles

He's got an above average ability of throwing the long ball but that's really it. Hes alright but definitely not elite.
