View Full Version : Am I taking too much supplements?

I'm planning on doing a cut soon and I just want to get my macros in check. But I noticed for my supplements I'll end up taking 2 scoops of protein and a bcaa supplement that has l-carnitine mixed in it. Is the 2 scoops of protein and 1 scoop of bcaa over killing it?

If you're consuming ~.7 grams of protein per lb of body weight in a day there is absolutely no need to supplement with BCAAs

Wouldn't the added bcaa's help with reducing muscle loss during a calorie deficit? I'll be consuming 1g of protein per 1lb of body weight
