For example, do an open survey of tax payers/corporations who want to stay in the Paris accord and just tax the people who voted yes for the billions it will cost. Everyone wins.

Obviously would not apply to required things such as defense.

we just need two seperate states. competing economically. winner gets to take over the losing state after x time. competition might even fuel innovations :O

It's called the politics of envy. Promise these things will be paid for, but by someone else...because they don't deserve to keep their money.

Or... everyone be could actually get off their ass and vote on Election Day, for the candidates who best reflect their positions.
