View Full Version : Pre workout nutrition at 5 am

I wake up at 5 to workout and get to the gym by 530. I go early in the morning because I work a physical job (landscaping) and often times when I get home I'm very fatigued. If I don't eat in the morning , I get very bad "hunger pangs". How should I eat before workout if I have to eat directly before my workout and not let the food sit?

I only have to continue this for 3 more weeks because school will be back in.
I tried BCAAs today with a few pieces of bread but the BCAA made me really queasy. (BSN amino x)

Currently bulking if it means anything on about 5500 cals.

I just do it on an empty stomach. But I guess I'm not attempting to get down 5500 calories each day.

I workout at 4:45 am. I eat a few whole grain fig newtons when I wake up then some chocolate milk after. About an hour later I eat my breakfast and head to work.
