.646 ops as a DH. He's also the slowest runner in baseball and has 15 gdp's.

He is on that Adam Dunn and Andruw Jones time

If he was a man he'd retire and save the Angels organization.

watching him jog the bases is so cringeworthy.

That's what happens when you're 41 years old.

What the hell happened to him? Do you think it's just Trout is the man now, or the angels are such a ****ty team? How can you be this bad?

You almost have to try to make an out to have a .270 obp

Barry Bonds was hitting 73 homeruns at same age

Have you watched him play? He's been running the bases with what looks like broken ankles for a few years now.

He's obviously getting older and breaking down

Shouldn't affect his hitting. He's had bad feet since at least 2006.

Bruh he's old AF. 37 actually isn't even "that" old for baseball. You see a ton of guys still be productive MLB players in their late 30-40s.

Problem is Albert looks and plays closer to 47 than he does 37 for a former generational talent.

You can seen it. He can't catch up to fastballs at the top of/above the zone as well as he used to. He used to murder those high heaters. Function of age and declining bat speed.

neither. he's statistically baseball's slowest runner at 23 ft/s. to put that into perspective, he makes yadi's 24.7 ft/s look fast. the major league average is 27. doubles turn into singles and singles turn into groundouts

most of that is because of his many foot injuries which you obv know about as a cardinal fan. add to that being 38 (or older..) and the declining power and bat speed that comes with it, and it's not a good combination

Agree but i don't think it's his feet. His bat speed is **** though and he doesn't want to walk.

This is why i don't think he cares, because ever since he joined the Angels he does not take a ****ing walk. If he's lucky he will get to 35 walks this year, which is so bad i can't even begin to comprehend. The absolute worst players walk more than that.

Lol at thinking he's actually 37 years old.
