I'm 15 years old, I play rugby, I do rowing and I'm generally fit, but im addicted to soda generally a drinking 2L bottle everyday, if I cut down will it help me not look as fat? And if so can you recommend any alternatives and maybe a workout plan?

Thanks

Cut out soda completely. If you have to gradually do it, then so be it, but soda is one of the worst things for you. Non-sweetened tea or water, homemade smoothies using fruit, sparkling water with squeezed lemon/lime, etc. If you're interested in a workout plan, go to the workout programs forum here and choose a beginner plan that would be best for you.

considering a 2l of soda is about 800 calories or pure sugar....

there are plenty of non calorie drinks out there, there is even DIET soda that has about 10 calories per glass. before anyone says it, artificial sweeteners ARE healthy for you.
