This is just absurd. The stat can be figured out here http://stats.nba.com/players/passing/#!?sort=AST_POINTS_CREATED&dir=1

This stat takes into account points assisted on, not just buckets. For instance, you hit a player in stride and he is fouled going up for the shot. You don't get an assist no matter if he makes the free throws or not. You do, however, get credit for points accounted for.

For reference, other top NBA players this postseason

Curry 42.4
Kawhi 38.6
Wall 51.7
Durant 32.3
Westbrook 62.4
Harden 49.5

LeBron is an absolute beast.

Also, we can't overlook Westbrook and how vital he was to his team this postseason. Those numbers are just insane

He posted 62.4 PPG with that weird metric, why would anyone overlook Westbrook if he is #1 by a huge margin?

I was referring to a lot of people discounting him because he was "chucking" and ballhogging. As you said, he outproduced everyone by a healthy margin while his team was actually in the playoffs.

Seeing as how this has turned into a thread about how great Westbrook is, he also had an on/off +/- of +62.8.....amazing.

Can you imagine what he'd do if you put him on a team like the Cavs? Would be heavy favorites to win the title for sure.

Pretty much. I wish the stats went back to the 90's, because I'd love to see how that stacks up to Jordan's bet playoff runs
