I'm only allowed to eat 2 oz of sweet potatoes a day and I typically make a big batch of them cooked and mashed and weigh them that way.
To try to mix things up I decided to try to make sweet potato fries using raw sweet potatoes in my hand dandy air fryer.
I cut them super skinny & They obviously shrink after they're cooked so when I go to weigh my 2 oz I feel like I'm grabbing ALOT of fries. Making it feel like I'm eating more than what I used to eat.
So I was just wondering if 2oz of regular sweet potatoes still is equivalent to 2oz of sweet potato fries even though the quantity and how they're being cooked is different!

Yes, assuming you weigh the potatoes before cooking.

Completely ignoring the absurdity of this statement. You're eating 2oz of sweet potatoes A DAY.

And you decide to consume them in probably the most UN filling way possible?

Is there even any point of consuming 50g of sweet potato air-fried? I could probably inhale that without noticing.

Goodbye sweet gains.

Everyone knows if you eat anything less than 3.50 oz of sweet potatoes you automatically become skinny fat
