I have a question. I'm cutting, I'm 6 feet 270 pounds. My intake is 2100 calories a day. I'm using the myfitnesspal app and it says I should eat 211 grams of protein a day but, 40% of 2100 is around 800 calories. Am I wrong is is the app wrong?

I would advice you to focus on 3 things :

-Minimum level of protein intake

-Minimum level of dietary fats (avocado / nuts / omega 3s / olive oil)

-Micronutrients (fruits and green veggies)

As long as you get those + your total caloric goal , you're golden.

You can use a multivitamin if you really don't want to bother with micros , I heard good things about orange triad. (keep in mind the bioavailability won't be the same as if you were eating veggies :p)
