I don't think so, but I could be wrong. The last unofficial update I saw was like 14.5 mil a year.

NE would definitely be the smartest choice for AP. He won't have to be a 3 down back, he'll still get touchdowns, and obviously on a Super Bowl favorite.

Combine this with the rumors of trade for Cook and it looks like the Pats are going all in for Brady's last stretch. Very realistic he gets 1 more ring, possibly 2 depending on how many years he plays. Hoodie and Brady will walk off together I would bet on.

Yeah, because Glennon's contract is not even close to Osweiler's.

Osweiler 4 years 72 million had 37 million guaranteed.
Glennon 3 years 45 million has 19 million guaranteed.

More than likely that is front loaded. He plays well this year, he's a very cheap starter for the next 2 while a rookie is drafted.

I'm hearing from a beat reporter that the Cooks thing is a done deal, they're just working out the details. I was on the fence until I really thought about it.

Would you rather have Butler and a 1st round pick or Gilmore, Cooks, and a 1st round pick? That settled it for me.

This is what I am seeing. I used to be a believer in Baldles but they just have too much talent on that team to still suck

Allen Hurns
Marquise lee

TJ Yeldon
Chris Ivory
Luke Joeckel

oh and defense

Calais Campbell
Jalen Ramsey
Myles Jack
Dante Fowler
Malik Jackons
Paul Posluszny

You have to be kidding me with a roster like that to still suck. The weak link is bortles. The guy who has won two road games in his entire career.

Lewis is mediocre (more of a blocking TE now)
Yeldon couldn't outrun Houstonmiscer
Ivory fumbles every 5th carry
Joeckel is a turnstile
The rest of the OL sucks except the center

If money is the only obstacle they'd be stupid to let him go. Who knows how Jeffrey feels about going back though. He claims "he's open to returning" but that sounds like a generic media answer to me. I'm surprised philly is in the mix as much as they are, they aren't flush with cap space and he's going to cost minimum 13/yr I'd imagine.

Browns attempting to trade Osweiler w/ eaten salary (Salary would come out to 8 million for 17/18, no guaranteed past that)

Put Jimmy G behind the line they assembled, get a runningback, keep Pryor.

You have Collins and you draft Myles Garrett.

If the Browns trade for Jimmy G, Re-sign Pryor.. maybe pick up a DB or hell even LB Hightower in FA & Hit on their draft picks - there's a good chance they make it to 8-8 <-- Something has to give... The this team hasn't won 10 games in a year since fking 2007.

From what I hear Hightower is resigning with the Patriots. But if he doesn't...

You get Jimmy G and resign Pryor, you have a good TE in Barnidge, a good RB and a top 3 OL in the league.

You manage to pull Hightower and sign Ryan. You're looking at a defense that has two top LBs. Joe Haden and Logan Ryan isn't a bad cornerback pair. Myles Garrett rushing the passer.

That's not an 8-8 team.. That's a 11-5 maybe 12-4 team that should win the AFCN.

Browns attempting to trade Osweiler w/ eaten salary (Salary would come out to 8 million for 17/18, no guaranteed past that)
and trade for Jimmy G

Put Jimmy G behind the line they assembled, get a runningback, keep Pryor.

You have Collins and you draft Myles Garrett.

8-8. And then you have a ton of picks. That's a building step.

Winning ain't easy phaggot. You have to learn how to win srs They would start at 5-11, srs. It's a slow process

Per PFT:

Receiver Terrelle Pryor apparently (not definitely, but apparently) could have had a multi-year deal worth $8 million annually in Cleveland. He has opted for a deal worth that amount in Washington, plus a chance to hit the market again next year.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Pryor has agreed to a one-year contract in Washington. The deal has a $3 million signing bonus, a $3 million base salary, and readily achievable incentives of $2 million. (The Browns apparently weren’t willing to match that offer.)

EDIT: Wizard^

I think it's hilarious that it's a one year deal. Odds are now Cousins has a pretty good season again with those weapons and then he and Pryor bolt next year.

Also think it's funny that they're targeting Mayock as GM after 49ers hired Lynch.

Ealy and a 3rd pick to New England for a 2nd.

Really a good move for NE. Ealy under performed but is talented and Belichick tends to get the best out of these type of guys. Worst case they moved down 8 spots or whatever it is for a chance to try him out.

As a packers fan I wouldn't have minded seeing lacy back on a reasonable 1 year prove it deal, but 5.5 million? No thanks... Coming off a big injury and surgery, weight issues in the past, usually injured for at least part of every season... not worth that money. When healthy and motivated, he is an good RB.

I'd take my chances on the RB depth in the draft.

Don't really get this one. He was pretty average behind Oaklands line, which was a very good line. I don't see him as much of an upgrade of McKinnon.
Better signing than charles, lacy or bringing back AP. But it wont do any good if they cant secure that o line

McKinnon can't handle full time duties. They needed to bring somebody in, as AP and Asiata are free agents.

But yeah, I agree with you he wasn't too special behind that very good OAK o-line.

Was not aware Asiata was a FA as well, makes slightly more sense now and based on Hawk's comment below the alternatives were not better.

Agreed, O-line needs to improve before anyone will have rushing success there.

On paper that talent is scary...results have yet to match paper for that team though.

the biggest problem remains the guy throwing the ball. Defense is gonna be hard pressed to display the talent they have when their QB cant stop throwing picks and theyre on the field 40 minutes a game

Good point.

The vikings defense may have been the best in the league this last year but they were on the field so much -- you could tell a lot of them were gassed by the 3rd/4th quarter. Going from a 'decent' offense in '15 to the highly injured, 3-and-out offense they had this year really hurt the defense.

Malcolm Butler to the #Saints for the 32nd pick of the draft. Turns out the 32nd pick was just a placeholder to a two part trade.

Cooks and a 4th for Butler and a 3rd.

Saints D is about to make it

Seems like a good trade for both sides. Pats O is going to be fukking terrifying and the Saints were desperate for some D(no homo).

Poe to the Falcons is big.

Trade isn't even over. Saints will give back their 3rd round pick for Malcolm Butler.

So after all is said and done. Saints give Cooks and a 4th for Butler and the 32nd. Basically as I predicted. Butler hasn't signed his tender yet so he can't be traded. They got the deal done by today so the Saints didn't have to pay Cooks the 700,000 bonus he was due (Bill and Sean are friends). Get back in here so I can laugh in your face when it happens

Will laugh in your face when Saints get your 1st round pick and Malcolm Butler. You're an idiot for thinking the Saints would just give you an elite 23 year old WR to essentially overpay Malcolm Butler as a free agent. Nobody wants to play corners 60 mil and to say Butler is better at his position is pretty debatable. Pretty hard to evaluate corners individually while it's easily to evaluate WR's based on individual performance.

And if the Saints give anything less than the 32 back you are the potato. It's a fine line. We'll see how it plays out. I'll own up to it if they give back the 32nd. I doubt you would do the same. You just spew retarded ****e and you might be right for once. Remember everyone, Calvin Johnson and Steve Smith are still top 10 NFL WR's according to Vhagar, and Brandin Cooks is the 65th best. You thought it was reasonable to give up the 32nd pick of the draft for the 65th best WR in the NFL? Whether the answer is yes or no you got it wrong lol

In fact you said New England would NEVER do more than a straight up trade for Cooks (the 65th best WR in the NFL). Giving a 3rd round pick in addition to Butler is not exactly straight up considering the Pats had to forfeit that 4th....

With Latavius Murray gone. There seems to be a fog in the distance in that fog is the possibility of Marshawn Lynch coming out of the retirement and playing for the Raiders. The Seahawks have the upperhand if Lynch comes out of retirement. How much are the Raiders willing to give for a 30 year old rb.

AP desparate as a HOBO.

Dude just went to Jameis saying get him onboard now he is going to the saints?

Dude this couldn't have gone worse for AP.

1st year he was out for whopping child

2nd year he was out for injury

3rd year he was cut and it just so happens to be the same year this is the deepest RB class in over a decade.

Id think its safe to say his career is over.

wait....you're saying he should choose to play AFC West defenses before he plays NFC South defenses?

Or you mean NFC south offenses don't run all that much? Honestly that's probably a plus for AD. But when the Saints were good in 09 and 11 they ran the ball a lot.

AD is a huge risk but nobody really knows whether he'll stay healthy or not. If he does, idk why he couldn't go for 1000 plus yards
