View Full Version : Is one 1200 calories too low ?

26 year old female, light active, 5'6, 167 lbs. Should I be eating 1200 or 1300 for a good amount of weight loss? I dont want to starve. I can do 30 bike exercise a day too

It is too low.
With your stats begin with ~1800kcal to lose a pound a week.
Protein intake should be 0.8gm per lb of bw. (minimum)
Fats 0.45 per lb of bw (Minimum)
Rest calories as you wish to perform better during the day.
