This is not kevin durant's timeline
it's lebron's

durant is irrelevant

even if he wins, so what? he went to a 73 win team to beat the freaking cavs lol, congrats

If only he was born a decade later ... Instead he will forever be known as Kevin "the servant" Durant

he actually has 3-4 years to win before egos and demands for more money tears the team apart. right now they are galvanized around beating lebron. but these are grown men with families and pride. when klay etc. sees other dudes with less talent than him scoring the top dollars, and having the ability to be an MVP, they will fracture and split.

Well LeBron James is the winner in all of this thanks to KD.

Now the mentality is that it's an embarrassment if the GSW don't win it all and KD, Curry, Klay. Draymond Green will all be looked at as forever failures no matter what.

If LeBron loses this year it's not going to be that big of a deal because GSW should win it all.

BUT if LeBron pulls it off and they actually win it all then he goes right up to contention of being the actual GOAT

basically.

lebron already cemented his legacy by coming back 3-1 against the 73 win warriors and delivering a title to cleveland.

this is just for fun; if he can dethrone the stacked super team down in Oakland then it just adds more to his legacy. if he loses, well oh well.

you seem unaware. pull up any of KDs social media and he can't make a single post without hundreds of people talking mad sht, calling him a snake and stuff. And if you assume it is only OKC fans you are VERY wrong. I enjoy reading them and looking at the locations of everyone to see that they are from all over the country, the dude done goofed.

Doesn't matter he certified himself as a cuck the moment he left okc

He could win the next three and nothing would change

Yep and there was already conversation of whether he is the GOAT after that. If he actually beats this team and is the finals MVP this season then quite a few people will come out the woodwork and start saying he is near or at the same level as Jordan

It's a lose/lose situation for Durant as far as his legacy goes. If he wins a ring no one will care because he joined a championship, record-breaking team. If he loses and continues to lose for the next 3 years the team will fall apart and his career will be a complete joke.

I think everyone gets a 1 year pass as you never expect a team to have it perfect after one season, but honestly if this stacked GSW team doesn't win this year i don't think they ever will. The whole core is too mentally weak.

As others have pretty much said, the only one that benefits from this move is Lebron

I wonder if Durant regrets going to GSW. The only way he will get some respect is if he is the win and he is the finals MVP. The team will break up if they don't win a championship.

If they lose again to the Cavs than LeBron should actually thank KD for shooting him up the ladder to on par with Kobe and that much closer to Jordan. Not many teams can say they stopped a super power cast with only two players (Kyrie and Lebron) Also he would have redeemed his reputation completely. Kevin Durant will forever be a loser for ditching his team for a 73 win team, there is no way to get around that. It made far more sence to go to the Spurs, Leonard/Aldridge/Durant would have been just as effective as Klay/Curry/Durant, but with far Superior coaching. He also did the NBA a diservice for wasting his talents on a team that didn't even and still doesn't need him.
