View Full Version : The Cowboys are Bad for the NFL

The reason the nfl is so great is because of parity. The Cowboys are beating everyone they are playing. There is nothing exciting about that and there is no parity with there games. Its very similar to the heat the Warriors got last year winning so much.

Give me a team that knows what it feels like to lose and is battle tested any day of the week.

Not a fan. But the cowboys are great for the nfl. Hopefully other teams realize a strong running game is hard to beat.

Crazy thing is that they literally have no shot to win the SB

Pats have had their growing pains.

Rookies aren't coming into the league having success without conflict or tribulations.

The guys on other teams have been in the league for years fighting, toiling, working hard. These Rookies come in and have all the success without even working for it

So winning games by drafting players is bad for the NFL? Winning every game because they are better is bad for then to? We doing the whole everyone gets a reward?

The Cowboys being dominant is a GREAT thing for the NFL, OP's high.

Check the highest rated games this year. Almost all Cowboys games.

If the Cowboys plays the Patriots in the SB this year, it'll be the highest rated SB ever. Book it.

Not since the 01-02 season. Which was more than a decade ago. So, no. They really haven't.

Wrong. The nfl has too much parity to be honest. There needs to be a couple great teams/frontrunners besides the Pats. I wish it wasn't the cowboys though

I agree but for a separate reason. The NFL has been pushing for passer friendly rules for the past decade because they believe more passing equals more scoring equals better ratings. Ironically The Cowboys and the Raiders are among the best running teams currently in the NFL and both at or near the top of the rankings, while NFL ratings are on the decline.

Having the best offensive line and good receivers will do that for a rookie QB and RB.

Nothing against Dak and Zeke, they are both great, but they were put into the prime position to succeed.

Well no player can really do absolutely incredible things without being in the right position for it. DJ wouldn't get the same numbers he does if Arizona had any real pass offense.

Show me a single QB who puts up elite stats without having some elite WRs in the backfield or a strong O-line.

You're right, the Cowboys were 4-12 last year so thats what makes their performance this year so special.

This srs? They have been beat, teams have slung up huge yards/points on them. They won a few games due to the other team missing field goals for heavens sake.

Tons of people don't even have them representing the NFC in the super bowl. Myself include.

OP is a moron. People just can't face the fact that the Cowboys came out of nowhere to dominate the league. Same reason why people hate the warriors. Just pure haters

I can see them in the Super Bowl but I can also see them be one and done in the playoffs as well from somebody like the Giants.

I like Parody as well when its not my team (Patriots) winning all the time. I also take it for granted as well. Most fans are super excited that their team won their division. There will be a day when the Pats aren't as good as they have been for the last 15 years so I have to enjoy this run.

That being said I am hoping for the two biggest market teams to be in the Super Bowl. Cowboys vs Pats.

This. I hope I'm wrong but it's going to be a Patriots-Packers SB. Cowboys will be there within the next few years without a doubt though.

This Dallas team does not look like a one and done playoff team like the previous Romo teams did. Time to give Dallas some credit.

You guys are crazy saying they have no shot. Hell, even Vegas gives them the second best odds at winning the SB (Pats having the best odds).
