Would going through a bulk and cut cycle more than 2-3 times per year for a few years cause the effects of yo-yo dieting? My concern is that to build muscle it's from one extreme to the other and is somewhat of a yo-yo diet and will eventually make it difficult for me to maintain a low BF% .

No because yo-yo dieting is partly psychological and partly because of loss of lean tissue during dieting. The former is down to your attitude to food general and the latter is down to doing enough weight training, eating enough protein and not trying to lose weight too fast.

What has to be extreme OP? Mass gains by weight trainers are gradual and generally come with a good bit of LBM. So is fat loss, and generally comes with retention of that LBM.

Most srs weight trainers avoid smashing on tons of weight, and then crash dieting it off. They tend to shoot for long term steady progress.
