So I'm really new into lifting, it's only been a month so far. I have a coach that made a week plan for the workouts that I need to do, and I stick to it. I was never a athletic person, so all of this was really new to me but I can do most of the exercises without an issue. I've noticed that I'm a lot stronger than in the beginning, for example the very first day of training I could bench the bar without any weights on for like 3 reps, barely. Now I can do 4 sets of 10 reps with 50kg/110 lbs. so I am definitely getting stronger. However I'm not noticing any change in my body (duh it's only been a month), but I was thinking about bulking, that should make me bigger and stronger probably?

also I'm 17, weight : 85kg/187 lbs, height: 180cm(5'11) .... thanks :)
also I have a skinny-fat body type :D

Yes beginners should always bulk unless they are obese.

you can try eating 200/300 more than your bmr...still hungry/tired at the gym/not growing in 2 weeks/1month? Add 200/300 more..and so on...i wouldn't personally add 1000 cals a day to my body overnight

85kg/187 lbs, height: 180cm(5'11).

No you should not bulk. You should eat enough to make progress.

Beginners are the best candidates to gain muscle while they lose fat.

Do you have a rough idea of your BF%? Skinny-fat is pretty broad.
