Gorgui Dieng at 64 million, Allen Crabbe 75 million, Victor Oladipo 84 million etc. say what you want about how they are structured or distributed but srsly?

Ask KD that question. These guys just wanna get paid they are not popular. When you are considered top 10 then you want a title.

Titles are all that really matters once you make that kind of money.

They don't mean as much as they used to. Players today are OK if they never win a title. Back then when they weren't getting paid as much a title was the most important thing

If I am a role player, I am chasing the money. If I am a star, I am chasing the ring (because the money will be max regardless)this. Nobody gives a chit about role players unless they win a chit load of rings (kerr, horry, kobe) but even then nobody really cares anyway

pretty sure after a certain price point, being good at your job and having the results show it are what matters.

a lot of these guys are already set for life; leaving a legacy and winning are what matters and = happiness now

it takes more than a few bucks to shake the edge that got these guys to where they are in the first place

Players like Durant, Melo and Lebron don't care about the money. They have more than enough. It's all about the legacy now.

Lower tier players don't care much about championships, I'm sure. Just trying to get that money.
