I sit at 137 pounds and have been consuming 2700 calories a day sometimes even more for about a month and have not moved up in weight event the slightest. If any of you are familiar with the hodge twins hey have stated that while they are bulking they only consume around 2600 calories. They weigh 203 pounds of solid muscle and only require 2600 calories while BULKING but somehow me at 137 calories eating 2700+ calories is not enough for me to make any changes. I know what most of you will say "everybody is different yada yada yada" but wouldn't that mean they just have far superior genetics than me being as their body is able to do much more with much less. But that couldn't be the case because like much of you say genetics plays no role in working out and everybody is able to look like Brock Lesnar as long as they put in the time and effort and if you don't look like Brock Lesnar then you're just lazy.

Great, you found your maintenance calories.
Add 150-200 calories on top of that and you'll start gaining weight.

1. I don't know what video you're talking about, but I remember them saying in one of their recent videos that their maintenance is 2800
2. Who cares? You know your maintenance and you know how much you have to eat to gain weight. Do what you gotta do.

You're simply not eating enough. I'm 133lbs at the moment and my maintenance is 2700 calories. I'm smaller than you and my maintenance is the same as your supposed bulk.

Don't concern yourself with how much others are eating or claim to be eating. It is of no relevance to you. Anyway, many people would really enjoy being able to eat more. The amount you are eating isn't even a particularly large amount for a bulk.

Bingo. If you aren't gaining for 4 weeks it's safe to move up in cals an increment.

Then you'll need to eat more. Have you tried cheeseburgers?
