Hello guys,

So I'm contemplating competing in 3 months in the Men's Physique Short category (OPA - Canada), its more of a mental challenge at this point, constant question is: Am I ready?

My plan is: ABS, I can drop my body fat easily and get them.
Also bring up every muscle group, proper nutrition and all.

I'm around 12% body fat so I would drop it to 8-9%.

Stats:
18 Years old
5'7
140 lbs

What do you think?

forget the show. Take a few more years so you can put on some more size, and then really knock it out of the park. You have a great start, but i'd recommend waiting.

3 months is too early to expect change. You have to stick to your thing for some more time and you are good!

You would have to be more like 6% so you would have to lose around 8-9lb to get to that (if you are truly 12%) that would leave you at 130lb. No offence but you will get dwarfed. Don't jump into a show, take time to build your physique slowly - take 1,2 or even 3 years of growing. Then cut and maybe compete.

You have nothing to lose just go compete. I would recommend doing more back exerices wo you can get yoru opper obliques wider that way your lower obliques look smaller and you get a v shape
