It sounds like a dumb question but I'm new to food prep. I'm suppose to get about 70g of protein for my last meal of the day. Do I weigh the chicken after I clean it or cook THEN place it on the food scale?

Before as most nutritional labels are for the food raw/uncooked.

Personally if i'm cooking a protein source in bulk i'll weigh it after it's cooked. Just stay consistent with whatever method you go with.

I weight it once it is cooked. Consistency is key though. Choose a method and stick with it.
