At 14 yrs old, you shouldn't be worrying about counting calories, much more important things to worry about like school, sports, video games, girls, etc.

What's funny? Your calorie expenditure is constantly changing due to your body still growing and developing. Counting calories and restricting your diet to only maintenance level isn't the best idea at your age.

We can't just tell you your maintenance based on weight and height and age, there are too many other factors.

Mainly, we need to know your activity level and your goals (gain, lose, maintain, etc).

However, as others have said, at 14 the habit of counting calories shouldn't be your first priority since you're still growing.

Like others have said, don't count calories.

At your age just be as active as you can be. Eat your fruits and veggies, eat meat, drink milk. You'll grow.
