what is a good point to start with counting calories i heard 17xbodyweight? im sedentary and lift 4 times a week heavy

6'1'' weight 161 yes i might be normal or a bit underweight but i wont gorge food and get fat as fack so i want to progress slowly and .5 per week.


edit: was thinking 2700 everyday?

Now this is just a quick observation: Someone of your height should probably consume at least 3,500 cal / day. That is a very ballpark figure, I did not use any formulas. I try to consume at least 3,000 cal / day, usually more.
