When you are bulking does it matter how much fat or carbs is in your diet to gain muscle as long as you have sufficient protein? I eat alot of bread(whole grain bread) and i drink alot of milk(recently changed to low fat protein milk) does the fat content or carb content matter when you just need calorie surplus? The fat and carbs i eat are from healthy foods, i dont eat any junk food.

Minimum of .8g of protein and .4g of fat per pound of body weight. Fill the rest with carbs.
