The basic principle of Weight loss is simple - calories in < calories out.
But the process itself is far from easy and very complicated due to a myriad of factors - physiological, psychological, environmental etc.
Does this mean the concept of calories is wrong? Imo, no.

Personaly I think there is some truth to it, but I still think its a fairly good measurment to go by, if you take individuals into account.. calculate ur daily caloric intake, and if ur weight stalls, if u decrease ur weight is going down, so it serves its purpose.
