Its amazing that Brady and the Pats only have to play 2 cupcake games against a bad chiefs team and a geriatric Peyton Manning to get to the Super Bowl.

List of teams that could win those cupcake games:
Cardinals
Panthers
Seahawks
Vikings
Packers

The AFC is the equivalent to the NBA Eastern conference

Lol. This reminds me of Miami Heat 2012-2013. People were claiming east sucks ass and yet each year, the champion came from the east. Same thing will happen this year in the nfl. The champs will be coming from the afc again and it will be the patriots.

Biggest down year for the NFL since 2008.

The Patriots are great but the other AFC teams are either decimated by injury, too stupid to have a chance to win, or quarterbacked by a decaying corpse.

Panthers/Cards/Seahawks and maybe even the Packers would all have a better chance against them than the AFC field.

Giants aren't around to bail the NFC out anymore. Pats are sadly going to dickdown whoever they face in the SB.

Greenbay fan checking in. Agree that every team listed (except for historically trash vikings) could beat broncos and chiefs any given sunday. Someone said Green Bay was trash. lol at "trash" green bay playing their worst season probably in a decade and making it to 2nd round of playoffs. AFC is like the Pac12 in college. Charmin Soft.

Don't forget they beat a 9-7 Redskins team who didn't beat a single winning record team in the regular season in order to get to that 2nd round.

Pretending KC was a cakewalk considering they were the hottest team going into the playoffs is stupid. Seattle got swept by the Rams...just think about that one for a second. You think they'd have an easy time vs the Chiefs?

The AFC has been basically 5 franchises for a long time. Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Denver, New England and Indy have made almost every Super Bowl since the Bills 4.

Solid KC argument. but no one is selling me the packers are a trash team even if their first round win was against the redskins. not long ago the atlanta falcons were on a lot of peoples "respectable/difficult team" list forgetting the fact they'd seen the 2nd round of the playoffs once since 2008.

Injuries knocked the Bengals out. Steelers would have fared better if people were healthy. And if Peyton was still his old self. Normally would be more competitive.

Your inability to gauge teams worth on anything other than historical success makes you look retarded.

GB stinks. They lost because they stink. They beat a bad team in the first round.

well then... if they beat denver, they'll have no chance against a REAL team from the nfc, right? let's see how this goes

No team with Aaron Rodgers at QB will ever be a trash team so people saying that are just potatoes. However the flip side is people shouldn't pretend just because they got to the 2nd round by beating a team who got there beating up on garbage teams that they'd plow through the AFC no problem.

The NFL has become a battle of attrition and who can stay healthiest, the longest.

I agree though. This has been an awful year for football.

Patriots need to win it this year. Then I could go about 20 more years before seeing them win another.
