Hey all,

I've been training for a little over a year now and have recently become interested in competing in Men's physique. I am currently 5' 11" 160lbs at around 12-13% body fat. I am currently bulking up at 3000 calories per day and gaining about 3-4lbs each month. I was wondering how much longer I should continue to bulk up before I consider dietig down and ultimately working towards my first competition.

Thanks.

Doesn't matter if you weigh five pounds or five hundred it's all about the look.

^^ This.

I'm 6' and was just under 170lb for my first show (profile pic) and won, came in around 172 for my next (novice) show in Dec and was too big they said.

Bring what looks best on you and your frame and get cut!

Men's physique is all about aesthetics. Usually it's by height category. Don't worry about weight but how you're going to look on stage. The more condition you are, the better. It's an ab show!
