More like over/under of of a billion... srs.

Jordan makes 50 mil/year. For LeBron, signing a lifetime contract for anything less than a billion makes no sense, at least to me.

Damn. Considering kd got 300m for 10 years, I'm guessing near the billion mark?

wow. guaranteed riches for life with no risk and relatively no pressure.

makes it even funnier that he genuinely infuriates random sports miscers while he will be CEOing 300k/day for the rest of his life.

you couldn't even spend that money fast enough on consumables if you tried

God damn, so much money...

I really wonder how much LeBron will have in 5-10 years. His max deal is going to be insane

That dude has seen money poured into his pockets since he was in High School. It's amazing he is able to stay motivated to play at an elite level when he's been set for life since he was 18. Fuk bois sign a 5 yr 40 million deal and they turn into busts.

Eh, I don't think that's a good benchmark. I don't see how LeBron's brand will have the same longevity as Jordan's.

Almost guaranteed that deal came with equity in Nike. Fuark, maybe now he can stop pretending he uses Samsung gear and likes driving his Kia.

Don't understand why he cares about getting a max deal and tying up cap space when he makes 10x more with everything outside of basketball.

But prob unethical and part of ego having one if the biggest nba contracts. He's rich as Fuk but would be dumb to just throw away 20 mil a year

Lebron will never sign anything over 1-2 years. He needs to always be the highest paid player in the league and will always be re-doing his contact as the salary cap increases to make sure of it. The only way he does a 5+ year deal is if he's like 38 and knows he doesn't have any more "re-ups" left.

And yet LeBron's money will always be chump change compared to 31 year old Mark Zuckerberg. brb 35 billion

Ridiculous if he does that with all the money he makes on the side.

LeBron should just be signing minimum league contracts at this point and winning championships.

He's gonna be a billionaire soon enough, he's got plenty of opportunities to make money, but he can get 5-6 more championships if he becomes LeGM and can pick and choose his team.

i dunno man, assuming it's 2017 now and his numbers are like 25-6-6 but his knees and back start feeling creaky. he can either sign a 5 year 50mil/yr deal, or do a 2 year 50/mil year deal and try again in 2019 with a risk he only gets a 70mil extension for 2 years.

i think if he gets offered $250mil over 5 years when he's 32 he's gotta take that. will be the biggest contract of all time in the history of all sports (who knows what the cap will be)

LeBron doesn't have a shoe brand that will sell for the next century. He's not worthy anywhere near as much as MJ to Nike.
