Have you ever been sick and tired of your team sucking for years that you have thought about no longer being a fan and joining another fan base?

Philly fan here. Worst season ever by our collective 4 major sports teams so far. All of them have been horrendous.

But no way I would ever root for another team. I root for certain individual players though and want them to be successful but that's about it. I'll always choose Philly over everyone.

What if I root for a player on a team that isn't my own... does that count?

Would shoot myself before I root for another team.

Plenty of times. Was a Lakers fan, then became a Heat fan when Lebron went to the Heat(Lakers were on their way to sucking). Then became a Cavs fan when Lebron went to the Cavs. This year thinking about switching to the Warriors by the trade deadline only because they are a younger team and have a bigger window than the Cavs. As for the NFL it depends because of parity but my three teams there are the Patriots, Seahawks(not anymore probably going to replace them with the Panthers) and Packers.

Every single Dolphins game. But I never will pick another team unless this shiit show of an organization leaves the NFL for whatever reason. Until that day, I'll be a Fins fan

Sort of... I started liking the 49ers because of Frank Gore and Patrick Willis... Willis retired and Gore got shipped off to the colts. York and Baalke are pretty much tearing apart the team with awful decisions. Ah well... I'll try to be optimistic. I'm also a SD fan but not like that's much better lol

I might if LSU fires Les Miles and doesn't also fire that spineless AD, Joe Alleva.

I've been thinking about quitting Miami Heat to join the Knicks. I'm already rooting for the Jets and Mets, so it would be cool to be all out New York... I won't do it though.

Does it make sense if I was born and raised in LA, yet I can't stand the freaking Clips? I am always a Lakers fan, whether or not they suck. For all I care, I always tell people I know that the Clips should gtfo of LA. Never gonna support them, don't care about them.

Same kinda goes with the Dodgers. I don't hate them, but I go with Angels, good or bad.

Football wise, Raiders always, even if they moved to Oakland. Partly Rams since they used to be in LA too, though obviously too young to see them.

started watching ball more seriously beginning of last year, i'm in toronto but im a fan of warriors and then toronto..watched almost all of their games since beginning of 2014 , does that make me a phaggot?

I guess i'm not going to be a fan of something that i dont enjoy watching just because they're in my city, the warrior's offense and curry is a huge part of why i stayed interested in watching nba.

If you're from the city proper, I don't respect it phaggot.

But if you're one of those Long Beach, OC etc. etc. type guys.
Whatever.

3 straight 5-11 seasons and that phaggot Chad Hutchinson was the closest I ever came to quitting on the cowboys.

Bengals fan who suffered all through the nineties. Still attended every home game as long as I was in town, watched every game when away. Still slacking quite a bit when it comes to playoff success but nevertheless light years better than what it was.

Didn't day1029 flop on his celtics and bandwagon the Warriors. It seems like a large percentage of Lakers fans abandoned their team for GSW too.

What good times? (referring to Dallas teams)

Sortof, where's the option for the local team sucks so bad I was turned off from the sport completely option? Dolphins haven't won chit in my lifetime, I don't give a damn if they make the Superbowl and win, I have been putoff to the NFL in general because of their decades of mediocrity.

Only way I'd become a fan of another school is if I went to grad school there, or cheered for my wife's team just to make her happy.
