Mike Florio reported Sunday night that somebody close to Peyton Manning has informed him that Peyton is coming back for another season, and he's willing to do it for a team other than the Broncos.

of course he is. He's not going out having his worst season in his career.

Dude needs to spend the offseason working on strength and conditioning on his throwing arm. Maybe consult some MLB pitching coaches for help.

Damnit. I was wondering how quick someone would make this joke.

I didnt expect it to be the first reply.

On second thought..... might not be a terrible investment if the Browns stick with Manziel as starter next year?
Who better to be tutored by than one of the greatest of all time?

I'm not even mad. Him stinking up the remainder of his career has all but squashed the "GOAT" conversation that shouldn't have ever been happening in the first place.

Outside of his name what team would actually want him? He's garbage now.

This X's 1000.

He'll probably go someplace warm or a dome so he can inflate his #'s some more.....

Lets face it. Teams are smart and do there homework. Nobody is going to pay what he wants for a 1 year deal, unless he wants to ride the bench and be a player/coach, which wont happen.

Elway realized he would never win with Peyton that's why he invested so much in the defense.

Oh kinda like a qb coach? Man I wish they had a position like that available on all the teams in the nfl.

Peyton having a case of the Brett Favre. Not knowing when to call it quits.
However Peyton will be 40 next season, thats when Brett had his renaissance season with the Vikings, who knows.

In b4 he goes to the Texans as others have mentioned.

I'll tell you where he's going...

He's going to be the starting quarterback of the Los Angeles Rams next season. I'll bump this post in 9 months when I look like Nostradomus.

Welp, I guess that's that.

He's not going to the 49ers. I'm sure he still wants to win and they're at least 2 years away from even thinking playoffs at this point. No reason to bring in someone who has played worse than Kaepernick this year.

Texans would be a good destination for him. Weak defenses and some nice weapons.

He already has pretty much all the records. He has nothing left to prove. He's done it all.

Would like to see him in St. Louis/ With the Rams

BRB Gurley is focal point of offence, less attention paid to passing game.

BRB potential top 5 D to carry him

BRB not Nick ****ing Foles

Brb doesn't matter because Peyton likes a pass heavy offense.

Brb Top D carrying him now

A top 5 D and focus on the running game, you say? I wonder where I've heard that before with Peyton...

Rams and Houston definitely would try it, any team with any kind of QB situation would take a pass at this point.
