Hey guys, i am kind of new to to fitness and training so i have a question. I am an ectomorph (i think that's how they call it), i am 6 feet tall (184 cm ) and 141 pounds (64 kg) and i want to gain muscle while gaining the least possible fat. So, what i am doing, except from eating as healthy as i can, is the insanity asylum program (when i get better, i will move on to asylum vol 2), i lift twice per week and a little bit of kick-boxing. I probably won't be able to use weights more often cause the weights are at the kick-boxing gym and the trainer wants to focus more on technique. So will i be able to build muscle as is and get stronger, while improving my body or will i need something more? Thanks in advance

I'm assuming by eating "healthy" you're limiting yourself to lean meats, eggs, rice, pasta and vegetables?

At 6' tall and 60kg's the last thing you should be thinking about is eating healthy. You need to start packing in the food and not caring if you gain fat. To gain muscle weight it's impossible not to gain body fat. I can't even really picture what a 6' tall, 60kg guy looks like.

You need to get into the gym more than two days a week and make the weights your priority.

It's all about consistency. If you stay at it, you will see results. It's up to you.

Man You need a lot of calories! 64kg at your height is very low. Pack on the size with high protein and high calorie foods.
Amino Acids throughout the day and protein powder will aid tremedously also.

Everyone said it. More gym time and start eating. The beginning of summer 2014 I was just like you, 5'11" and maybe 145lbs.
In Jan of 2015, I started eating and increasing my level of effort. I'm on a bulk right now and I'm 190lbs.

yep, consistency is key. I'm still having trouble adjusting to this.

bulk up my dude, if you want to body build i suggest using weights, with kickboxing you can be really lean, just focus on diet and stay consistent to eating at a high calorie rate.

You should make the barbell your best friend. Deads squats and bench. You move more weight with a barbell and you will see significant gains at your current weight. Good luck
