myfitnesspal keeps adding 250-500 extra calories to my macros , do i need to eat them , anyway to turn the extra calories off ? . on the info section it says its cardio calories but i dont do cardio .

Just eat that much less? what ? . im asking if i need to still eat them even tho i dont do cardio because strength training still burns some .

Decent for tracking, but not calculating.i dont know what you mean by calculate i bar code scan the labels and use MFP to '' track '' if that what you mean . at the time when i find my tdee it was around 2300 i was like 150lbs so i just added 200 more ( prob should up more since then ) MFP added the same amount .

Ignore everything MFP says about calories burned. Only use it to track intake.

Agreed. Do not track exercise through MFP. Just what you intake. Go by scale, mirror and your lifts. Adjust calories as necessary to your goals.

The calories burned are going to be pretty inaccurate which is why everyone is advising you to ignore that portion of MFP.

Do you have your MFP connected to any devices? phone ****meter, fitbit, etc? This is where it is getting the data it is using to "calculate" calories burned from.
