Hey
Been trying to get under 10% bf% for the last few weeks. I'm beginning to feel like in this point in the year I should just start bulking again. I'm 15 pounds off from the thousands club and I'm 13 pounds lighter I should be happy with that... right?
Thanks

I do not know, are you happy with that?

You really do need to do whatever makes you happy and fulfills your goals. Are you more worried about a bodybuilding perspective or powerlifting perspective? You can always reverse out of this cut and lose fat in the process

I am seriously considering doing a reverse a diet, this last month I have been trying to cut the last few %, and I have started to fall in to a binge cut cycle, so it might be helpful to stabilize my diet. Im afraid I have fallen into that awkward in between stage where I am to big to start bulking and too small to start cutting

No point in getting leaner. Slowly start increasing calories again.

I am to big too start bulking and too small to start cutting

You've got a distorted view about yourself. You're about 10-11%. The perfect place to start bulking.

Lol I meant it with respect to bodybuilding. But I think you right, especially since its already mid-October. Anyway thanks for the advice

I'm not following you. 6.0" 170 pounds is too big?

not in the slightest. I meant that I didn't feel like I was lean enough to start bulking. Ideally I would bulk only when I was under 10% that way I could bulk longer. When I said big I meant my Bf% was too high, not that I was too big muscularly... I am not that conceited

Oh then I understood you correctly the first time. 10% is a perfect to place start bulking. Going lower usually results in negative hormonal adaptations. For more details see: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/initial-body-fat-and-body-composition-changes.html/

Are you competing?? Under 10 percent sounds pretty low.

Mrbp: thanks for the article that makes a lot of sense
Reign4321: Nope, but I just wanted to see if I could do it, and to do it in the future I need to plan a lot better
