This frail old dude looks like he's about to die from heatstroke. Can't even spend a day at the fair, how is he supposed to handle the heat as President?

WTF did I just read and see???Found this....
WASHINGTON — Just as Sen. Bernie Sanders’ progressive presidential challenge to Hillary Clinton is gaining steam, an old essay of his has surfaced in which he says women fantasize “being raped by 3 men simultaneously.”
“A man goes home and masturbates his typical fantasy. A woman on her knees, a woman tied up, a woman abused,” Sanders, 73, wrote in 1972 for an alternative newspaper called the Vermont Freeman.
“A woman enjoys intercourse with her man — as she fantasizes being raped by 3 men simultaneously.”
In another part of the article he wrote:
“Do you know why the newspapers with articles like ‘Girl, 12, raped by 14 men’ sell so well? To what in us are they appealing?”
Sanders was 30 at the time and was running for both the US Senate and governor of Vermont on the leftist Liberty Union Party line.
Sanders’ campaign is now trying to distance him from the article, calling it a “dumb attempt at dark satire in an alternative publication intended to attack gender stereotypes in the 1970s” that in “no way reflects his views or record on women.”
“It looks as stupid today as it was then,” said spokesman Michael Briggs.
Briggs characterized the resurfacing of the essay — which was first reported by Mother Jones magazine — as an attempt to distract from the real issues.
Sanders is determined to run a campaign about big problems and not “salacious gossip and innuendo,” Briggs said.
Sanders has a record in the US Senate of backing bills to protect women, including sponsoring a no-tolerance policy for sexual violence in prisons and the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act.
But the perception of the essay could create trouble for him as he seeks to defeat Clinton, who coined the phrase “Women’s rights are human rights.”
A new Quinnipiac poll found Clinton leading the 2016 Democratic primary with 57 percent, but Sanders is second at 15 percent.

I noticed Socialists and in general those who support welfare and love Scandinavian countries are really riding this guy's balls. If some former Ron Paul supporters support Sanders, they kinda missed the whole point of Ron Paul, it would seem to me.

Lol You say socialist like its a bad thing. This country was built on socialism what do you think the GI bill was? socialism created the middle class.
Its so funny how the republicians only care about the rich and helping giant corporations rape americia yet all these poor republician voters go against thier interests thinking they are well off or will be some day. The posters on this site are a perfect example. Like that pesant Joe the plumber who was getting mad about being taxed on a buissness he only imagined he would someday own. What a bunch of morons these non rich republicans are

Providing benefits in exchange for work performed under an employment contract is not "socialism".

PSToolman

Nor is the philosophy that Bernie espouses "socialsm".

Of all the candidates, or any of our current representatives in government, Bernie Sanders is the only one with the courage, and consistency, of his convictions to go on the radio every week for an hour and take questions from random callers. You can hear him every Friday on Thom Hartmann's program, and listen to past episodes on Free Speech TV. There is no one competing for the office who is more open and transparent about his or her goals as president. Agree with him or not, at least you know without doubt where he stands on any issue.

Take some time to do some research on what socialism actually is, then report back. The GI bill has nothing to do with socialism. That is given in exchange for the serving our country. Socialism actually involves grossly high tax rates in order to redistribute the wealth to attempt to get everyone on a similar playing field. The reality is that it doesn't work (East Germany for example - lol at building a wall to keep people in their chitty country). Socialism is a theory at best and does not work in practice. Further, it's a very black and white life with no real opportunity.

Btw giving tax cuts to corporations is not a bad thing. 2 reasons: 1) America's already high corporate tax rates are forcing some corporations to leave the USA (see Burger Kning). 2) With extra money saved from tax cuts, corporations use a portion of that to create jobs through new factories, R&D, etc., in order to stay competitive.

US was built on elements of free market capitalism and largely free trade. Limited government and personal liberty. Land of the free, home of the brave. Not welfare. US was the experiment opposite of socialism. Capitalism created the Middle Class. It is because of Capitalism that US built the Middle Class.

I agree that republicans are morons. The original republicans long ago were better, their slogan was "free land, free people". They stood for small government and personal freedom. now republicans have long ago sold out to corporate interests and they love huge government and they have traded their freedom for illusion of security and a few electronic gadgets.

Democrats are no better. Anyone who makes up their mind before they hear the specific issue is a moron. On some things it's wise to be conservative, on some liberal.

This is so weird. Obama promised exactly, to a word, what Sanders is promising.. Have people not learned their lesson yet? In fact Bush promised the same thing, as did Clinton and Reagan. Every one of them promised to end wars, to end corporate corruption, to help the poor and the middle class etc.
