He can easily finish the season with 30 homers, 30 steals, and a .350/.475/.600 line. Not to mention the fact that he plays very good defense and is a very humble and likable guy. Other than the fact that he plays in AZ, why doesn't GOATschmidt get more attention?

No disagreement here, Goldschmidt is the top 1B in the game. He's the only guy to like on the D-backs, who have a team full of douches that try way too hard with enforcing the "unwritten rules" of baseball.

Best overall 1B in the MLB. I still think Miggy is a better hitter though (if you want to consider him 1B)

GOATschmidt gonna go 30/30 at 1B, he's an animal. The team just needs to find a bat to hit behind him so he doesn't get walked every time there's an open base.

Only guys doing the unwritten rules sh*t now would just be the manager and the pitching staff. Look at the turnover on the offensive side of the ball. Hill and Goldie are the only guys that have been starting the last few years and pollock to a lesser extent. Then you've got a bunch of younger new faces in Lamb, Ahmed, Inciarte, Peralta, Tomas, and Castillo starting. Just glad that dumb fukk KT isn't running the team anymore.

He is the position player version of Chris Sale.

Also, both have been really close to winning an MVP/CY Young but have fallen short a couple of times now, it just rustles me when phaggots like Dickey and Kluber have 1 good season and outta pitty or 'feel good stories'' get the awards only to go back to being ''meh'' forever.
