for Gerald Henderson and Noah Vonleh per Woj. This trade probably foreshadows LMA and Wes Matthews leaving town and a rebuild.

"Portland is finalizing a trade to send Nic Batum to Charlotte for Noah Vonleh and Gerald Henderson, league sources tell Yahoo."

I'll miss Nicola but he never lived up to his potential. Hopefully he can play better and stay healthy in Charlotte

Guess LMA told them he was out.

@WojYahooNBA: Sources: Blazers didn't make deal as first step of rebuilding. Aldridge was aware of trade, and Blazers did deal independent of free agency.

I think Wes walks and LMA comes back. We will go after a big free agent

Wasn't it a contract year for Matthews? Who tf is going to pick him up after that Achilles injury?

The real question is why tf did Charlotte give up on Vonleh so quickly.

6'9" with a 9'1" standing reach, 7'4" wingspan, and 37 inch vertical. 19 years old. ...

That was my first thought too. Dude's measurements are insane and he showed good rebounding ability as well as an outside jumper during his time in college. Vonleh could still be a stud.

Was really curious as to why Clifford gave him 0 minutes last year even when they werent in the playoffs hunt towards the end of the season.

This guy said, "Told Charlotte had concerns about Noah Vonleh's acclimation to NBA. Had difficulties picking up on plays. Questions about his feel for game."

Also, Wes Matthews seeking 15 mil a year. Not sure he will get that from any team. ANDDDD I think it was Stein who said it, but would have to go look, said that if Lamarcus leaves, expect Portland to enter the Kevin Love bidding along with the Lakers and Celtics to pry from Cleveland.

They must have faith in Zeller.
