View Full Version : Not losing weight during Ramadan

For the last 6 months, I've been on a bulk diet and a workout plan. I've seen some good results. I've gained more size and strength with an additional 18-20 pounds. Now, Ramadan is coming up. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's a month where you fast by not eating or drinking during the daylight hours. You can only eat at night. With a bulk diet, you need to have snacks every few hours along with a couple of big meals. I really do not want to lose any of my gains from the last 6 months. I probably won't gain much during the month, but I want to maintain what I have. The last thing I need is to lose weight. This one PT from my gym last year lost 20 lbs. I don't want to lose much. If I'm not drinking water, I will obviously keep it light at the gym. Any advice on how not to lose weight during Ramadan?

Eat the calories you'd normally consume throughout the day during the night.
