1. Sugar Ray Robinson
2. Muhammad Ali
3. Joe Louis
4. Willie Pep
5. Henry Armstrong

Seen them all fight, and they were GOATs

Mayweather is a top 5 welterweight of all time with Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler.

The only difference is that those 4 fought in the same era, while Mayweather only had Pacquiao in his era. And we all know Pacquiao is not a true welterweight.

I don't really know boxing lol. I just listen to Max Kellerman everyday on his radio show, and he talks a lot of boxing and I just write what I hear from him.

SRR
Leonard
Ali
Hearns
Duran

Doubt anyone else would put in Hearns but imho he's well deserving because:

- His losses were the result of taking hard fights and staying in the game/experimen
- One of the best/most recog fighting styles ever
- Multiple fights on anyones GOAT fights lists

Tough question to answer just because of how technology and medicine, as well as diet has progressed.

Most people have Marciano, Dempsey, or Louis in their top 5, but head to head Wladimir Klitschko and most other modern super heavyweights would anally destroy these guys

I'll see if I can find a video, but there was an Ali interview from the 70s where the host asked him where he compared to the past greats, and he said there was no comparison because those guys were all around 5'11 and 180lbs, and modern (remember the 70s) heavyweights were 6'2 and 210 lbs.

Well fast forward 40 years and modern hws of today are 6'6 and 250lbs.

Edit: found it ". Starts at around :40 and goes up to 1:20
