Are you affiliated with that company?

$23-27 + shipping for a waterbottle seems pretty high

hmm stainless steal is viable too, unlike aluminum bottles which suck because they have a bpa lining
does it affect the taste of the water though?

glass water bottles with silicon sleeves are great for buying as gifts to others, maybe, but i wouldn't spend that kind of money on a bottle for myself.

i bought one for my sister from crate and barrel (for cheaper than the one in OP, which is telling you something) and i don't mind spending $20 bucks on something i know she likes, but again for myself i just grab a cup and drink out of whichever is the closest tap.

do you take a cup everywhere you go?

i work in a restaurant so i don't usually have to worry about it. when i'm out and about i often just won't drink any water. if i anticipate being thirsty, i'll grab a half-liter bottle of water or just buy one where convenient.

Such as?

What similar chemicals are in much cheaper alternatives such as this?:

i don't know if theres enough of it in the nalgene to really disrupt the endocrine system but I personally prefer to steer clear
