Thought it would be over after Ortiz's homer but the game keeps going.

what's impressive is that the score hasn't stayed stagnant, NYY keep on matching boston, I don't think ive seen a game hit 20 before

marathon games are lulzy
i always think about the individual fan's thoughts. at what point do you say, "umm i guess we will go home now?"
aside from the young adults and die hards who obviously arent leaving until the game is over

Luckily, it's Friday night. Or, at this point, you can say Saturday morning.

BART (which is how a lot of people get to Giants games) stops running at 12:30 so a game running this long would pose a problem for me. I'd probably just stick it out though and find another way home.

What I like most about watching these games on TV is how disinterested the broadcasters get after about the 14th.

I watched a bit of this match on ESPN from here in the UK (I get ESPN free with my broadband) and was suprised by how many empty seats there were at the stadium. Isn't Yankees vs. Red Sox like the biggest rivalry in all of MLB?

Alcohol was cut off in the 7th. Everyone left by the 10th. No one cares.

What you mean brb? Is that what you do? What kind of phaggot wouldn't have beer at a boring ass baseball game.
