The Cavs were starting kyrie, a carcass of shawn marion, lebron, love, thompson

There is literally one good defender in that lineup, but most of all no true center

Theyre so desperate for defense that Iman Shumpert will help them a TON, and a true center in Mozgov that protects the rim is huge

Not saying theyll win the title but...

When he didn't accept the loss and made countless excuses etc. Now back on topic...

Mozgov is a decent pickup, but decent at best. He's not the kind of low post presence an NBA championship team normally has, but Lebron changes everything. Shumpert is huge for locking down big scorers. JR Smith is either going to shoot the cavs out of a game or light it up for 30, so it's very possible it could give them a big boost but it's unlikely imo.

I hate JR smith with a passion, but I think this is a decent pick up. JR smith can shoot... he can hit shots. Obviously in NY he wasn't doing ****, but who do they need to guard with melo out besides JR? Nobody. At least cavs have other players that teams have to stay on and can get JR some more space.

Slump is pretty overrated. If he wasn't on the Knicks we wouldn't even know who he was. Until we see Lebron playing healthy and like he use to all of it is meaningless though.
